Emergency Medicine Hot Topics Conference

Health care is changing rapidly. Urgent and emergent conditions require rapid, accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions. This educational activity provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about current and progressive trends in the practice of emergent, urgent, and critical care. The course provides a setting where attendees will practice their own decision-making and manual skills with concurrent feedback and instruction. The design is short, high-yield sessions with audience participation. The course will enhance practitioner competencies in intoxications, stroke and neurological emergencies, airway management with state-of-the-art technology, pediatric care, point-of-care ultrasound, EKG interpretation, resuscitation, and imaging in emergent conditions.
