Driving Recovery For Open Heart Surgery By Addressing Sternotomy

This activity focuses on the pathophysiology of sternotomy pain. The faculty will review patient challenges related to pain management and provide insight into developing an individualized pain management plan. In addition, Dr. Allen and Prof. Royse will review the reasons for a shift to rigid plate fixation and the benefits seen by patients and surgeons. |
