Overview / Abstract:

Target Audience
This activity is intended for pulmonologists, rheumatologists, dermatologists, primary care providers, respiratory nurses/nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and other health care providers who may be involved in the management of patients with ILD.

Program Overview
This activity will cover pulmonary disease.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

Identify the ILDs most commonly associated with a progressive fibrosis phenotype
Use clinical impression and appropriate diagnostic tests to diagnose (and differentially diagnose) SSc-ILD
Involve multiple specialists, nurses, advanced practice providers, and therapists in coordination of care of patients with IPF from the standpoint of diagnosis, treatment, management of comorbidities, and optimization of patient well-being (e.g., pulmonary rehabilitation)
Manage patients with IPF proactively and effectively during the COVID-19 pandemic
Review the therapeutic options for the management of SSc-ILD
Apply an individualized treatment approach to patients with SSc-ILD
Evaluate non-PF-ILD COVID patients for fibrotic changes in the lungs after recovery
