Target Audience This online, enduring educational program is directed toward primary care physicians, diabetologists, nephrologists, cardiologists, certified diabetes educators, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health care professionals involved in the management of patients with CKD. Activity Overview This online, on-demand virtual symposium brings together experts in the management of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in patients with type 2 diabetes in the primary-care setting. In this educational program, these experts describe renoprotective strategies that may be employed by the family practice physician. The program concludes with a presentation of cases that illustrate the approaches and treatments most likely to lead to improved patient outcomes.
