Target Audience This activity has been designed to address the educational needs of cardiologists, hospitalists, interventional cardiologists, internists, primary care physicians (PCPs), clinical pharmacists, hematologists, and other clinicians who are involved or interested in the medical management of patients with venous thromboembolism (VTE) and/or at risk for VTE. Program Overview Faculty considers the risk factors for, and burden of, VTE in acutely ill medical patients, during the hospitalization and postdischarge periods.
