Target Audience This activity has been designed to address the educational needs of cardiologists, hospitalists, interventional cardiologists, internists, primary care physicians (PCPs), clinical pharmacists, hematologists, and other clinicians who are involved or interested in the medical management of patients with venous thromboembolism (VTE) and/or at risk for VTE. Program Overview Faculty discuss the use of validated VTE and bleeding risk assessment models to inform thromboprophylaxis decisions.
