Case by Case: Reviewing Diagnois and Treatment of Chronic Progressive Case of Post-COVID Interstitial Lung Disease

Overview / Abstract:	Target Audience This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of pulmonologists, radiologists, and pathologists. It may also be of benefit to primary care physicians, rheumatologists, PAs, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, fellows, residents, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with chronic progressive fibrosing interstitial lung disease (PF-ILD). Program Overview Patients with lingering ILD symptoms after COVID infection may have a genetic predisposition for progressive fibrosing ILD and need to be followed and treated appropriately. Learning Objectives Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to: Analyze laboratory and imaging data to diagnose PF-ILD Evaluate patient risk factors for PF-ILD Develop appropriate, evidence-based treatment plans for patients who have PF-ILD Formulate a communication plan for patients with PF-ILD to provide education about the disease and treatment
