This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of geneticists, genetic counselors, nephrologists, cardiologists, ophthalmologists, neurologists, obstetricians/gynecologists, pediatricians, and gastroenterologists.

Program Overview
How does Fabry disease (FD) differ among women and men? Experts Dawn Laney, MS, CGC, CCRC, and Damara Ortiz, MD, discuss important clinical considerations for women with this lysosomal storage disorder in this 60-minute enduring webcast. Gender-specific differences in the clinical presentation and diagnostic work-up for FD, current and emerging therapies in the management of FD, and the importance of elevating women in FD research are key points addressed in this activity. Mollie, an adult patient living with FD, shares her personal experience with this disorder as well.
