Overview / Abstract:	Target Audience This educational activity is directed toward nephrology nurses and nurse practitioners who treat patients with diabetes and CKD. Program Overview This online, on-demand virtual symposium brings together experts in diabetic kidney disease. In this educational program, these experts use a case-based format to discuss renal and cardiovascular involvement in patients with diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD), team-based approaches to disease management, and treatment options tailored to individual patient needs. This educational activity is an archive of a live symposium held on May 22, 2022. Learning Objectives Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better prepared to: Discuss the impact of progressive CKD on quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes Identify the optimal CKD treatment option(s) based on patient clinical characteristics and benefits/risks of currently approved agents Formulate a personalized, multidisciplinary, team-designed treatment plan for CKD based on shared patient-clinician goals of therapy
