arget Audience This initiative has been designed to address the educational needs of clinicians involved in the care of patients with COVID-19 in the hospital setting, including those specializing in infectious disease, critical care medicine, emergency medicine, and pulmonology. It may also benefit primary care physicians, hospitalists, and other allied healthcare providers who are interested or involved in the care of patients with COVID-19. Program Overview This case-based activity provides an overview of clinical trial data for immunomodulators and current NIH guidelines for management of patients hospitalized with severe COVID, allowing clinicians to keep up with current practice. Learning Objectives Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to: Summarize outcomes of clinical trials to treat patients with cytokine storm resulting from COVID-19 infection |
