Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of rheumatologists and rheumatology advanced practice providers (APPs).

Program Overview

This activity tests learner’s knowledge and competence regarding the management and treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and ankylosing spondylitis (AS), as well as improving learners’ real-world clinical performance through a series of interactive case studies.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

Assess the potential clinical utility of artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict a possible diagnosis of specific rheumatic diseases and likelihood of response to individual therapies
Discuss the differences in the presentation, progression, and response to treatment between men and women with common rheumatic diseases, especially PsA
Assess common findings within imaging results of patients diagnosed with AS
Identify appropriate questions to patients with rheumatic disease at each visit that may help quickly uncover core issues to be resolved by the patient and healthcare team
