Activity Overview
This online, on-demand virtual symposium brings together renowned experts in alopecia areata, an autoimmune disease characterized by hair loss that afflicts approximately 6.8 million individuals in the United States. In this educational program, these experts discuss the latest data regarding management of alopecia areata, share their perspectives and best practices, and use animated videos to demonstrate the pathophysiology and mechanisms of action for emerging therapies that can help improve patient outcomes.

Target Audience
This educational activity is primarily directed toward dermatologists and dermatology advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants). Other health care professionals involved in the management of alopecia areata will also be invited to participate.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
• Describe the burden of disease associated with alopecia areata
