Overview / Abstract:

This module will look at the epidemiology of cardiovascular disease in HIV, identify predictors of cardiometabolic risk of ART, and best practices the team can apply to the prevention and management of cardiometabolic risk in PWH.

At the completion of this educational activity, participants will:
Review the epidemiology of cardiovascular disease in HIV

Identify predictors of cardiometabolic risk of ART and list potential mechanisms

Apply best practices in prevention and management of cardiometabolic risk in PWH
