Showing Patients with Migraine the Possibilities with CGRP mAbs

Access Activity

Overview / Abstract:

This activity focuses on the latest data with calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) as well as personalized migraine treatment. Leading migraine experts, Jessica Ailani, MD, FAHS, FAAN and Richard Wenzel, PharmD discuss factors that influence treatment, strategies to improve therapeutic adherence, and comprehensive care strategies. To accompany this education, a short, patient-centered animated whiteboard is also provided to help frame foundational knowledge about the CGRP mAbs. The whiteboard also includes helpful tips on how patients should communicate with their healthcare providers about their migraine treatment. Healthcare providers can share this whiteboard with their patients as it is an excellent, easy-to-understand educational resource.
