Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward community hospital center teams, community neurologists, general neurologists, cardiologists, emergency department physicians, primary care physicians, and other members of the care team for patients with or at risk for stroke.

Activity Overview
Addressing Healthcare Inequities is a video-based program in which 3 experts discuss health disparities that negatively impact patients with stroke. Access to care, insurance costs, and unintended bias are just some of the factors that contribute to the existence and persistence of these disparities. This engaging format is designed to help clinicians better recognize and take steps to address ethnic and racial disparities in stroke, thereby forwarding progress to improve patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
Describe the burden of existing healthcare disparities in stroke care
Discuss social determinants of racial/ethnic disparities in stroke care
Assess interventions aimed at increasing awareness of stroke-related clinical symptoms
