Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward hematologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, neurologists, primary care physicians, and advanced clinical practitioners who work with sickle cell disease (SCD) patients.

Activity Overview
In this video-based activity, a panel of 4 distinguished experts in managing SCD review clinical guidelines, interpret clinical latest data regarding current and emerging therapeutic strategies, and engage in lively discussion about best practices related to the care of patients with SCD.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
Implement individualized, evidence-based strategies for managing acute and chronic pain in pediatric patients with sickle cell disease.
Evaluate the efficacy and safety of approved and emerging therapies for the management of patients with sickle cell disease.
Describe the impact of health-related stigma on treatment practices and health outcomes in sickle cell disease.
