Overview / Abstract:

Target Audience
This educational activity is intended for medical doctors, doctors of osteopathy, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners involved in the treatment of acute and chronic pain.

Program Overview
This online, on-demand virtual symposium brings together renowned experts in pain management and other areas of internal medicine. In this educational program, these experts will provide information on current and emerging evidence-based approaches of traditional and alternative therapies in the management of pain. New and emerging treatments for migraine and arthritis, the latest advances in regenerative medicine and neurostimulation, and more will be discussed and debated.

This educational activity is an archive of the live symposium held on October 1, 2022.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
Discuss the mechanisms of action of new, novel, and emerging treatment options for the management of pain
Examine the efficacy and safety of new and emerging pain agents/modalities for the treatment of pain
Develop customized treatment plan for patients with pain, based on patient- and treatment-related factors
