Overview / Abstract: |
The Introduction to Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Live Training Course provides participants a strong foundation to perform the core emergency medicine ultrasound applications as outlined in the most recent ACEP and WINFOCUS ultrasound practice guidelines. This course is taught by leading emergency medicine ultrasound experts and incorporates comprehensive lectures, interactive case presentations, system optimization, and needle guidance sessions. Extensive hands-on scanning sessions feature a 3:1 faculty to participant ratio with live standardized patient models and inanimate phantoms for improved competence to immediately integrate the skills learned into clinical practice. Each participant also receives scanning checklists for reference purposes and a case log of exams performed to apply towards hospital credentialing if needed. For the most comprehensive Emergency Medicine Ultrasound education, combine the introductory level course with the Advanced Emergency Medicine or Advanced Critical Care Ultrasound program to augment scanning skills and expand diagnostic/interventional services and improve patient safety and satisfaction. A combined tuition discount is offered along with cost-savings associated with travel expenses |
