Overview / Abstract: |
The Ultrasound Guided Vascular Access Live Training Course is planned in accordance with the current Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), ACEP, and WINFOCUS guidelines and provides participants a strong foundation to perform central and peripheral line techniques. This comprehensive course is taught by leading Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) experts that specialize in ultrasound guidance and incorporates comprehensive lectures and interactive case presentations that review ultrasound imaging fundamentals, vessel differentiation, procedural set-up, and in-plane and out-of-plane scanning techniques for performing central and peripheral line placement. Extensive hands-on scanning featuring a 3:1 participant to expert instructor ratio with both live models (anatomy) and inanimate phantoms (interventional techniques) ensures you will be able to immediately integrate the skills learned into clinical practice. Combine the Ultrasound-Guided Vascular Access program with the Ultrasound Guided Emergency Medicine Nerve Block course or the Blended Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia course for the most comprehensive procedural ultrasound program. Earn CME while you expand your knowledge and competence to increase patient safety and satisfaction. |
