The Blended Introduction to Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound course will give you a strong foundation to begin performing and/or interpreting transcranial Doppler examinations. The Blended Education format provides flexibility while saving you time and minimizing travel costs. Begin with the self-paced online course: Taught by leading vascular ultrasound experts, the online course provides a comprehensive review of neuro-anatomy, normal and abnormal Doppler waveform characteristics, and scan techniques/protocols specific to TCD and TCI exams with fifteen (15) months unlimited access. Then attend Scanning Skills Workshop: Join us in sunny St. Petersburg, FL for a One (1) Day (6 Hours) scanning skills workshop at our state-of-the-art facility. The extensive hands-on scanning skills workshop features the industry lowest 3:1 participant to faculty ratio allowing the participant to immediately integrate the skills learned into clinical practice. For the best ultrasound education experience, completion of the online course prior to hands on scanning is recommended. For the most comprehensive cerebrovascular ultrasound training, combine the TCD program with the Blended Carotid Duplex/Color Flow Imaging program. The combined course offers 2-days of hands-on skills training and 15-months access to two separate online courses. |
