Overview / Abstract:

This workshop presented cultural and linguistic considerations in assessment and intervention of bilingual preschool and early school age children at different levels of bilingualism with a focus on Spanish-speaking children with language impairments. Attendees evaluated cultural considerations that impact language assessment and compared the different techniques for assessing children. Attendees also discussed case studies and intervention goals.
