Ocular Manifestations of Infectious Diseases in Children

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, national vaccination rates have dropped significantly, and there is concern about a potential rise in vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs), especially in children. As members of the healthcare community, eye care providers should recognize that vaccines are the best way to protect themselves and their families, as well as their patients and coworkers.
