This knowledge-based home study learning program is designed for compounding pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. It covers a broad overview of nonsterile compounding, including the applicable regulations and standards, along with discussions of each of the typical dosage forms prepared by compounders. The calculations module provides detailed explanations and examples and is a guide to help develop proficiency in common pharmaceutical calculations. As a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program, this 11-hour knowledge-based home study learning program ensures a quality and standardized learning experience. |

Richard Dilzer, RPh, FACA, FAPC Richard H. Dilzer, RPh, FACA, FAPC is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Pharmacy. Since 1985 Rich has practiced in many pharmacy settings including retail pharmacy, long term care, mail-order operations, infusion therapy, consulting, and sterile and nonsterile compounding. He has served as a preceptor for several colleges of pharmacy. He has held directorships in infusion therapy, long-term care, and mail-order operations. Rich is a fellow in both the American College of Apothecaries (ACA) and the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (APC). He is co-inventor of four patent-pending injectable formulations. He has served as contributing member of the APC Adverse Events and Quality Assurance Software Development Committee and the ACA Mentoring Committee. |
