This activity will help pharmacists and pharmacy technicians understand why men experienced more severe outcomes from COVID-19 compared to women, and how this knowledge may apply to other acute viral illnesses. Participants will also explore the current evidence on testosterone's role in cardiovascular disease and prostate cancer, gaining the tools to discuss its risks and benefits confidently. By the end of the activity, pharmacists and technicians will be better prepared to educate both patients and healthcare providers on testosterone-related health concerns.
