Overview / Abstract: |
Immune-mediated inflammatory disease (IMID) is a group of clinically heterogeneous autoimmune disorders that includes psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, and many others. Recognizing the underlying immunopathologic mechanisms of these disorders is essential for understanding how new and emerging biologic and small molecule therapies exert their effects, enabling optimal incorporation of these agents into current treatment paradigms. In this CME podcast series, expert clinicians will review challenging cases of psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and vasculitis. Faculty will discuss how new or emerging therapeutic options may be of benefit in clinical practice. |
