Overview / Abstract: |
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is an irreversible, age-related neurodegenerative disorder characterized by a gradual decline in understanding, memory, and ability to perform activities of daily living. With the recent approval of novel AD treatments and the evolving therapeutic landscape, it is imperative for clinicians to stay informed on the current issues surrounding AD. This CE program "Neuroinflammation in Alzheimer’s Disease: Implications for Early Detection and Treatment" aims to address this need by focusing on the role of neuroinflammation in AD, the importance of timely screening and diagnosis, and the latest therapeutic options and emerging approaches. Utilizing the unique ArcheMedX Intelligent Learning Platform, participants will first gain a comprehensive understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying AD, including how neuroinflammation contributes to disease progression. A segment will then highlight the significance of early detection and review the tools that facilitate timely diagnosis, ultimately aiding in better patient outcomes. Finally, faculty will examine clinical evidence for current and emerging treatments for the management of patients with AD. |
