STATEMENT OF NEED
Dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLPS) is an aggressive subtype of soft tissue sarcoma. Detection of MDM2 and/or CDK4 amplification distinguishes DDLPS from other types of undifferentiated sarcomas. Diagnosis of DDLPS remains challenging due to its complex karyotypes, quantitative genomic profiles, and pleomorphic pathological features (Nishio et al, 2021; Shen et al, 2022).
